Besides Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, I recently read that Judge Judy (an American TV personality) remarried her husband, Judge Jerry, a year after they divorced eachother from their 12 year marriage. I think it's important to realize that a divorce is not a magical end to anything. Plan A doesn't necessarily have to stop being effective once paperwork is filed or a divorce is finalized.
So . . . can you think of anyone to add to the list or any comments regarding the possibilities?

Gavin and Patty MacLeod...He played Captian Stubing on the LOVE BOAT! He and Patty now have a show on TBN called "Back on Course". Also the Football giant Rosie Greir remarried his wife. If you would like to read testimonies of people who have restored marriages you could go to www.rejoiceministries.org or to www.restorem.org
These people did not retore their marriages on their own. They allowed God to do it for them.
Mrs. A

Yes- my step-father's brother and his wife were married for many years, then divorced for many years, and have now been re-married for many years. I'm not sure of all the particulars or what they did to resolve...
Robert's sister and her husband divorced after her affair years ago. They stayed apart, in fact did not SEE each other for more than five years, then accidently ran into each other, started talking, started dating and, you guessed it! Remarried in 6 months. They've been happy for years now.
It DOES happen.
lori

Yes! My STBX's mother and father divorced and his father married the woman he was having an affair with, after about 10 years, he left her for his XW. Today both my H's parents are unhappy alcoholics but still live together. I think his father got a good deal out of the remarriage, his wife gave him a kidney, and is the only one working. She has slept with her daughter's boyfriend. One mixed up family... Guess I'm lucky to be getting out of it.

Yes, my friend got married and they had two boys together. After her husband had an affair, they divorced, stayed away from each other for about 6 years. Then they run into each other and starting talking and became close and old sparks came back... now they are happily married, they had twin girls and what a beautiful family they are....
Sweet isn't it?
