Like many people I am going to my first divorce.I really have not much of an Idea how long it will take to get divorced.I got information to be at least 12 month seperated.Well...I be seperated now since 7 month, my H and I have 2 kids and at this stage we made our own agreements and we both want the divorce as soon as possible.<BR>Does anyone know if I can get divorced befor the end of 12 month ?<BR>And please could anyone tell me what I have to do after the 12 month (if there is no other way to get divorced earlier)?<P>I am thank you for any help !

You could always <I>lie</I> about the separation...like my XW did...but what's your hurry?<P>Let me give you a nickel's worth of free advice...there is no justifiable reason for speeding things up...despite what you may think...perhaps you want to start a relationship with someone else? Not good on all counts...for you, your STBX, the OM, or your child...please consider the effect on all...you are no doubt hurting, and need some ENs met...that's your psyhce's way of telling you to get some independence, not get into another relationship...which is statistically doomed, BTW.<P>You may think you are moving on to something better by starting another relationship now, but that's not the case...slow down, and discover yourself...then you can bring a better person to the new relationship.
