I know this has nothing to do with this forum, but I have seen some of you discussing DK and I was hoping someone out there is an expert or has a kid who is on Pokemon Gold.
My 8 year old is in Pokemon therapy at the moment (!) it keeps his mind off "things", and the strategies involved are good for clear thinking. He is really stuck at the waterfall, can't get through. He is SO frustrated, and his one friend who knows the solution hasn't replied since the weekend. Please can anyone help relieve my son's frustration???

Hi there,
Son is still frustrated because he says he has battled all 8 gym instructors and didn't get waterfall. It's possible he doesn't KNOW he has it, or how to use it to get past. What should he be looking for? Is there a specific gym instructor he needs to beat? A location perhaps? Aspecific way to beat the G.I.?
Sorry, but as well as driving himself crazy, he's driving ME crazy, too!

Nina:
These are directions from my 11 year old:
1. You need the badges. It sounds like your son has them.
2. Go to the ice path. I think you walk until you find a big square of ice and rocks. Go on the ice, and figure out how to slide (the rocks stop you).
3. Take the path. Along a strip of ice is an "item ball". That ball has the waterfall TM. Pick it up, and he should be set!

Thanks K!!!! It made my son's day, I haven't seen him that excited in a long time. Yes he got the ball and he's past the waterfall. So we're okay until another block occurs.
Thanks for making our day!!!
