Hi there Howling Alone,<P>Well, my son is still frustrated because he says he has battled all 8 gym instructors and didn't get waterfall. It's possible he doesn't KNOW he has it, or how to use it to get past. What should he be looking for? Is there a specific gym instructor he needs to beat? A location perhaps? Aspecific way to beat the G.I.?<P>Sorry, but as well as driving himself crazy, he's driving ME crazy, too!<P>I'll be off line until about 2pm your time. Um, I'm not Howling Alone, and I don't anything about Pokemon, but I <I>do</I> know that you can find just about anything you want to know concerning just about any video game by poking around on the web. I tend to go to <A HREF="http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbcolor/game/25388.html" TARGET=_blank>GameFaqs</A> first, but there are plenty of other sites also.<P>A quick look at Donald's walkthrough for Pokemon Gold reveals that the "Waterfall" (apparently also known as "HM 07") is found in the "Ice Path" cave at the end of "Route 44":<P> <BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><HR>First, go up, then left, down, left, up, right, up, and right. How sweet that you thought to reply!!! Yes, my son got through alright and it made his day. I actually found it for him in the end by looking at the net, but it took some doing, cos I'm not an expert at searches. So his mum is a heroine for a while.
