Here's a plan A hiccup:
As we've been splitting up the household, we've been fairly conflict-free. She's even bought things at rummage sales to replace things she's taking with her, and I agreed to just about everything she's wanted to take.
We had an ugly kitchen table in our dining room (the dining room table we had before that was too big-the kids kept banging into it). She asked me if I wanted to keep it, or if she could use it as her sewing table. I said I'd like to get a better table, so she could take it.
She said "Well (insert first name of suspected EA guy here) is getting rid of a dining room table. You could call him and ask about it."
I choked on that for a day or so, until I realized she meant a different guy we knew with the same first name. Man, am I glad I didn't say "you think I'm going to call up [suspected EA guy], go over to his apartment and have a nice little talk with him? What planet are you from?"
I've stated this before tonight but you've successfully demonstrated it...

quote:
Life and Death are in the power of the tongue. Proverbs 18:21

Good one dude! Whew, misunderstandings have their way don't they? You're demonstrating INCREDIBLE AND UNBELIEVABLE self-control and discipline with your words...
It's great to see it!
------------------
The new country is where you are called to go, and the only way to go there is naked and vulnerable ~ Henri Nouwen

I echo that!!! You exhibited extreme self-control in a truly difficult situation. Well done!!!
I'm glad you could discuss which items she was taking. My H didn't discuss what he was taking, so I was left to discover things had gone. Like the portable cd player, about 30 cd's, video camera, the manual camera, his bike. Not much, but he is living (last I heard) at a guest house). And except for the bike, I hadn't asked about anything, but I thought there was a possibility that the bike was stolen. Anyway, that's how little he is willing to talk to me.
(((((((((((dabigtrain))))))))))))
You are doing so well!!!
