Hello all,
I signed the divorce papers yesterday. I have to say that I am finally relieved that this is finally at an ending. I just need to wait for the judge to put his John Hancock on it and it will be over. I am glad that this whole ordeal is over. My D papers were very specific on what I can and can't do as far as contact with my Ex (its nice to be able to say that [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]). Basically we will only talk to each other for the kids' sake. This is absolutely fine by me. The less I have to do with her the better off my life will be. Yes there is a little bit of venom in my attitude. 7 months, and thousands of dollars later, and the final document is pretty much the same as what we had agreed on in the very beginning. What a waste of time and money.
Anyway, just thought I would let everyone know what was going on. You all have been absolutely wonderful!
Griz
------------------
Sometimes the hardest journeys in life are not the ones you embark on alone, but those that you choose to travel together.

{{{{{{{{{{Griz}}}}}}}}}}
I know in some ways it is a relief to finally know one way or another which way your life is heading, and a little bit, it is a relief that it is over with, but I'm sorry.
I'm sorry that you had to go through this whole, painful mess, and I hope you'll still linger around for the "newbies" once your venomous attitude has died down a bit. I know...it hurts. Hopefully, you'll feel a little better in a couple days or next week.
Meanwhile we're here for ya. Would you like a party/celebration or do you feel like mourning a little?
CJ
------------------
Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

Griz - Congragulations on making it to this point and managing to improve your life. That's a tall order. I hope you get what you're looking for.
Your observations have been valuable; I hope you will continue to post.
Prayers for you.
Dan
