Well, I haven't been posting d/t internet and time problems but life still continues on.
Tomorrow is my second court appearance. The first one was a disaster and we accomplished nothing. My STBX still has not given me any money, except to pay the mortgage and finally convinced him to pay the car.
We put our home up for sale and sold it in 1 day. I have been looking for a place to live and want to move into a home and my mother is willing to co-sign with me, other wise I would be ?????
STBX is still with OW #2 and continues his "happy" home life with his new family. My kids enjoy being with daddy and the "new" family of step bros and sis and step moms and grandma and grandpa. What a bunch of warped people.
I have been doing good emotionally lately. I am no longer trying to get him back. He doesn't deserve me. I guess what has been eating me is that he shows no remorse or sorrow about what he has done. Just throw the old family away and get a new one. I am not particularly happy to be thrown away, my true pain comes to my kids. How could he just do this to them. They will have a life differenet from what should have been and one filled with adversity because of their father's actions.
I am convinced that marital disintegration and the break up of the family, IS the main reason for the horrible state of our country. People stand by and watch the destruction of family and say, Oh well, it doesn't involve me. That is the problem!
Oh well, got to go.
Peace to all of you
hoplessmom

Hopelessmom,
Glad to hear from you again. Life does go on no matter how hard it was in the beginning. You are sounding better, stronger and more determined. Good for you.
Like you I had to give up on trying to save my marriage and I have learned over these past months that it may not have been worth the effort anyway...just more heartache in the future due to certain personality traits and FOO issues.
I will take what I have learned here and the life lessons I have learned to carve out a new a better future for myself and my kids.
Take Care.
Hi Hope,
Glad to see you are back, was kind of wondering where you got to. Lot of new faces showing up here, so yes, the world does go on, life goes on.
There is something about "once bitten, twice shy" that slows some of us down. Having once experiened the breakup of a family, I don't ever want to go through that again. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. It sure has slowed me down in the process of finding a new mate.
It's good to hear from you and hear that your spirits are up. You really sound great.
Prayers and stuff,
Bumper
