Divorce is inevitable at this point. WS is lost and confused. Had a really bad phone conversation with her this past weekend. Sent her a short email in hopes she will not punish herself.

Hey *******,
I just wanted to say that I never heard you try to be more hurtful toward
me than this past Sunday, and although
I am not taking it personally because I know you are still very angry at
me, I just hope you are taking good
care of yourself. The fact remains that you are and always will be a very
special and beautiful person who
many people love. You are bright, talented, gorgeous...I can go on and on.
Please try to make good decisions
with your life and be good to yourself. Some things, once they are done,
you can never take back, and some
things you never can forget. And I'm not at all talking about how you are
treating me. You are very angry at me now
and you want me to suffer, and that is fine. I deserve it. But please
don't punish yourself and hurt yourself.
One day down the line, the anger will subside, and you will feel much
better, and you will move on with your life.
Look beyond just tomorrow and next week and look toward your bright future
ahead of you. I still love you and
I will always love you, and that will never change. Don't worry about what
other people think, but at the same time,
be good to yourself and don't let people guide you down the wrong path that
you will regret later. So many people think so
highly of you, so please don't disappoint them. Take care and I'll see you
on saturday. Have a good week!
********
You are very angry at me now
and you want me to suffer, and that is fine. I deserve it. But please
don't punish yourself and hurt yourself.
I am not so sure anyone deserves to suffer, We all make mistakes but what is in the past we can not change, I don't know your story, but what ever you have done if you confessed and have tried to make amends and gave her the chance to get help and worked towards healing, then I do not think you deserve to suffer or intentionally be hurt. It is sad that sometimes the people that are trying too hurt us and make us suffer only hurt themselves in the long run, take care of yourself.
Thanks jabber. She is the WS and I am the one fighting alone for our M. She blames me for neglecting her and thus creating the environment for her to stray. I am at fault for much of this, but you are right, no one deserves to suffer. I just don't understand why I want so much to help her when she just wants to destroy me.
