Okay, I've got the tickets, I'm going home next Thursday, and I'm looking around me here and seeing that there is so much to do, and I can't start. I have decided to do the bare minimum, but even so, once I start I know it's going to be painful, and I'm avoiding it. I know not doing the packing, starting NOW, will ultimately give me even more stress, so will someone please give me a push?

Expect that the pain will eventually subside, and you'll be stronger for it.

Hi there
Start packing Girl. Its time you started getting on with your life, for your kids sake. Your kids do not want to see you so unhappy .I know that once there is distance between you and him that you will find it easier to cope and believe me the pain will subside.
God bless

Hi everyone,
I've started the horrible job of packing things up. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]. I am going to need a push often between now and Thursday, so if any of you know I am on here replying and posting when I should be packing....give me a boot in the butt please.
I like to check in and see what's going on, but at the moment I should only do it for a quick break.
So if you can tell I'm spending too much time, feel free to use the size nines!!!
I'll let you know when I don't need your 'encouragement' to pack any more!!!
PS: I'm asking you guys to help with this cos I don not have a single person to help me....thanks!
Jacky

Jacky,
I know how you feel. Hi, btw, haven't posted to you before but I have followed your story.
Set little goals for yourself. Try not to look at how much needs to be done it will overwhelm you.
When I found myself feeling overwhelmed and just wanting to get on my computer and read, I would actually set goals things I had to accomplish before I could get on here. Yep, a reward system. So pack up two cupboards then brew yourself a nice cuppa, grab a couple of biscuits and come here to escape. Then back to the packing.
Hang in there. The distance will help.

Thanks HopelessinAZ.
That's what I've been doing, now on coffee break for 10 minutes! I actually feel better for having finally started. I don't think I've seen your posts yet, but I'll keep an eye out from now on. Take care.
Jacky
