My husband left me 4 months ago saying he didnt love me anymore. We had been married 2 years and together for 4. We have an 18 month old baby girl. I had post natal depression and not meaning to pushed my husband away I did not give him any affection. I* feel he has put up an emotional wall to stop feeling the pain I was causing him and now doesnt love me anymore.
For the last month we have been meeting as friends which is what he wanted in hope that his love for me would return. But I find it so painful to do, as I love him so much and he does not show me any affection, and I want to show him how much I love him and I cant. We go out together with our little girl and on our own. But it hurts so much as we get on so well together and really enjoy each others company, then I drop him off at his place and I come home on my own. Reality hits and I am in such a terrible state.
I dont know how long I can carry on doing this. I dont know if he will ever love me again, am I wasting my time? How long should I carry on doing this for? I know I cant do this for a long time, but I know I have got to give it a chance. I also know whilst I am doing this I am not getting over him, and I am hurting so badly.
Any advice would be greatly received.
many thanks
Lynne
