Hi Kim,
Yes, sad, just finished packing the cases, h is out with the kids for the last time, and I'm leaving tomorrow. My kids had their last day of school today, and that was tough for them, and I have wanted to just scream.
Reality is that I know I am going to have to walk onto that plane tomorrow, and I don't want to.
But, I knew I'd feel like this, just gotta get on with it.
Tell me your drama, please, it will help distract me from mine!!!

hey sis,
i knew this was going to be extra hard for you... i know it must be the scariest thing you have had to do... t is probably harder than your move to SA... i was reading your reply to bigtrain on your thread, i am praying that he does move right down the street from you and the kids... i am praying that he does come to his senses. i really want the best for you and the kids... i know and believe that it will work out... i just choose to have faith in that today...
bigtrain also made me feel like i was being a little negetive by saying that h wants cake and eat it too... i hope that you didn't feel like i was trying to bash h... i just beleive that there are times when men go through things and it causes them to not act like themselves... i know i told you that he knows in his heart that he cannot replace you... he loves you i am sure of that... i am sure of that... i think both of our guys are just confused about things going on with them... may not even all have to do with us... if i was negetive i am sorry... i want to be sensitive and caring... that is my true intension... [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
ne way, about me... it is a long story, but i'll try to keep it short... in 9/1998 my dad told me he had cancer... his health declined really fast and in 12/1998 he passed away... have to go run an errand... will finish when i return... i have been in a meeting that's why it has taken me so long... stay tuned [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]

i'm baaaack!!!
ne way, when my dad was sick he told me he had nothing except 150k in inusrance money, but that i needed to contact the insurance company to take care of some details... i never did that because my dad's life meant more to me than the money and i just felt it would seem too low... well when my dad dies i found out that 1/2 the money was in my mom and my children's names... since my mom was deceased it automatically went to the children... but my dad had already explained to me that needed to be handled b-4 he passed... i had to put the money away and buy a bond(insureance that i would not spend it) until each child is of age (18), now 3 years later my 18y/o son is saying it is his money and he is trying to keep me from getting it... he has been planning this for a long time... he knows i need the money to get us on our feet, move and pay up some bills... and he knows it's not his money... i told him i was going to give him some of it, but know he is trying to straight rob me. my son is pretty out there... he is a wanna be thug and he is drinking and smoking everyday... he is in the court system and is making no effort, despite the numerous chances the courts have given him, to change his life... now he is just waiting to take advantage of me and further destroy what is left of my spirits and hope of anything turning out good... i feel a little discouraged, but i still do have my faith... i think i just need to be reminded that God does still have my back...

Wow, sis, and like you really need this on top of everything else!
A son who's 18? My eldest is 8, but I started late.
So let me get this straight, the money is yours, but has been put in your son's name right? Gee, I think you need to cover your back and see a lawyer.
Years ago, my FIL put the farm into his kids' names...I was always worried about this because one SIL is devious, and I'm sure she'll use it against her dad if it suits her.
So, what do you think your chances are?
((((((((((((Kim))))))))))))))))
There! I hope you feel a little better!

well, too late for any recourse... my dad is gone and the only person he had this conversation with was me... i immediatly shared it with my h, but i really have no recourse... i just have to pray that it works out... he cannot open a bank account or cash a large check, he doesn't even have any id.. the check is going to come in my p.o. box so he has little control, but he still has control... just pray...
