Hi all,
Just wanted to share something silly, this has nothing to do with marriage but just thought it was so silly I wanted to share it.
My son's school has a rule, if tardy for a class, they must have lunch detention the next day. Which, the procedure is to go in a separate room, they can't chat, must write a hundred sentence (I will not be tardy) and must have a sack lunch. (I wonder how many times do you need to punish a child for one thing) [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] Anyway, the sack lunch, as I learned, last year can't be fastfood. I had brought him a subway sandwich and water last year and was told this was not allowed. I was told they can have anything they want as long as it is a sack lunch brought from home. In this sack lunch you can put in candy, chips, cookies, candy bars, sodas, etc anything you want in there, but if has to be a SACK LUNCH, no fast food as this would be considered a treat. So my subway sandwich and water was a treat to them and was not accepted. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
This year, I got smart!!! He has lunch detention for a tardy slip and over the weekend it slipped my mind. I didn't have any sandwich meat this morning to make him a lunch. So, right before his lunch, I got my aluminum foil out, went to Subway, asked them to wrap a sandwich in the aluminum foil, then bravely walked through a stampede of hungry 6th, 7th and 8th graders down the hallway of his school with his from home subway sandwich and bottle of water sack lunch and handed it to them. Which the school gladly accepted. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Well, now I must get some much needed work done today. See ya'll!!!
ANNA

[This message has been edited by Anna2000 (edited September 24, 2001).]
