My attorney contacted me today to let me know that the STBX signed the acceptance of services paper. I was really surprised that the STBX signed those. The attorney said the next step is sending his the settlement papers. He said that's the hard part because they either don't sign it because they don't agree to the property/bills split or they decide they don't want the divorce.
My attorney said that 1 week after December 30 (if everything goes smoothly) I will be divorced.
