I think we've finally reached a support agreement we can both accept. Now - this only lasts until...?
We have to have the settlement done in 60 days - by the time the divorce date is set?
All of these timing issues are so confusing -and at $100.00 ! - I'd rather ask the people who have been there and survived (well, that's always a matter of opinion, isn't it?!)
Can anyone help me put together a timeline kind of thing for when this that and the other thing occur?
Also, we live in an area where the bigger houses aren't selling right now because the biggest employer is having problems. Kids and I are still in the house. I know it has to be sold, I can't afford it on my own, but what about us continuing to live here until it sells? How much flexibility will a judge (if necessary) give me on that? Doesn't make a lot of sense to move out and leave it sit empty while it still has to be paid for...
Any advice? Thanks!
Teresa

ok.....
get as much time as you can.....
First look at how old your children are... can you still get support while they are in college???
YOU and the kids stay in the house and make him pay the house payment.
Make him carry you on his insurance till you can get your own....
Make him keep you as a beneficiary on his life insurance policy until the youngest is out of high school, or maybe even college..
Don't forget the spousal support....
Get everything you can and then some...
even if it means the gold from his teeth...LOL
Make sure you and your kids are taken care of... thats the most important... and if it doesn't leave him(pig) enough to live on.... he can always get a second job at Walmart !!!!
Remember... this is what HE wanted !!
Enough Said...
Scoick
