You have to admit that some of these names are pretty interesting...!
The first one I chose (I think it was something like sadnlonely) was already taken... So I'm sitting there trying to come up with a name and the song "Won't you come home Bill Bailey, won't you come home..." got in my head - and that's how I got mine.
I've thought about changing it to SadinIndy, but it feels a lot like why I won't take back my maiden name after 22 years and 2 kids!!
Teresa

I had a similar thread not long ago, but it got lost in the changeover.
Okay, my brother used to lengthen my name when we were kids, from Jacky to Jacquelinino.
It got shortened to Nino...but I don't like that cos it's a guy's name. So I tried Nina...already a Nina.
Hence Nina too.

I hope that I don't insult anyone but I named myself Bula because it reminded me of a workhorse. I am always berried in the laundry room or with my arms deep into the sink with dishes. Wiping runny noses, runny tushies, cleaning, you name it .One day I just blurted out as I peered out from the laundry pit, I feel like Bula, & ever since the name stuck, as a matter of fact allot of people that I know adapted that name, even my husband has named himself the male version Bulo whenever he helps me with chores. Please take no offence any Bula's out there!

mine is an acronym, it stands for "In Dedication of Stylin"...
Stylin Eugene was my dad's firs and middle name. I was naturally a daddy's girl and when he passed it hurt me terribly.
my mom died in 1992 and my dad in 1998, both in December... then my stbxh told me he didn't want to be with me anymore in February 2001. Oh yeah and i am an only child...
Guess you all can imagine how lonely and abandoned i feel....

My original name was "crazy or what" That was when I had first discovered my E first affair.
After the divorce I changed it to jillybean36. I wanted something more fun. Most of my friends call me jillybean so to me it just fits.
Jill
