There is a good site on intervention. I haven't tried it myself: didn't have the chance. The site is familydynamics.org/intervention3.htm. I hope it helps someone. I think with some people intervention is never going to work. Esp. the atheists. <P>But at least there is something to try for those who don't want to wait for their spouse to hit rock bottom which could take ages. But I suggest that if intervention when tried at least 3 times still doesn't work to give up trying. Either accept that's the best you're going to get out of marriage and stay with it basically living a separate life or get out if you can't accept this kind of marriage. <P>Addictions just are the worst for marriages. I really am afraid of encountering another compulsive person again. <BR>MsAnna.
