Hey Kim,
Well, my name explains it all. I have been playing softball since I was 4 1/2 years old and am still playing to this day. I will be 33 next Wednesday and I am happy to still be able to play at a very competitive level.
My husband and I met on the softball field and were even married at home plate before a really big tournament in Las Vegas. It will be 6 years ago on November 4th. I just hope we can get our relationship back on track before then. We are actually going out of town together next weekend for both of our birthdays. This is a really huge step for us.
I do agree that I have not seen many So. Cal'ers here. I think most might be too ashamed to admit their faults/problems. I think you nailed it with the Hollywood thing.
Talk to you soon.
Michele

Hi guys...
Michele, haven't heard much about your story lately but I've been outta the country for a bit. So, you're going on a trip? Is he still on his own or is he back home now? How are your kids? I remember your saying he started sleeping in your bed with you again, but that was it... only sleeping. What's happening with you two now? Or maybe I should just search...
Cheers!
Nicole

Hey Nicole,
Great to hear from you. Let's see, an update to my story. Well, my husband is still staying at a friends house. He has been out of the house since August 16, 2001. It has been a very long two months. During the beginning of the separation, we have had our share of ups and downs. Actually, the same fighting that his moving out was supposed to solve. HMMM! Now the only difference is that he gets to leave the house or hang up the phone when HE is done talking.
For the last to weeks, things have been going quite well. He actually agreed to finally sit down and tell me everything that was going on with him/us. It was finally the eye-opener to both of us. I finally got a complete conversation out of him and learned all of his fears and reasons for leaving and he was finally able to tell me that our relationship was worth saving and that he is still very much in love with me. YIPEE! Since our talk, he has actually started taking more rapid steps to reconciliation. For example, showing more affection, coming to the house more and spending a lot of time with me and the kids, inviting me to do things with him. You name it, it is starting to happen.
This month has been kind of hard on me emotionally because 4 of our birthdays are this month and our goal was to have him home by the first of the October birthdays. Unfortunately, that did not happen and it was a very sad day for me when we went our separate ways on the day of our daughter's birthday party.
Anyways, I was able to get through that tough day okay but there are still more birthdays to come and then our anniversary is on November 4th. He and I are going to Las Vegas for both of our birthdays which are (10/24 mine & 10/27 his). We are both really excited about the trip but I am very nervous as this will be the first time in months that we will be alone together for an entire weekend. I just need to stick to my Plan A and I am sure everything will be fine.
Well, I think I covered everything here in a nutshell. Hope all is well with you. Talk to you soon.
Michele

Hi Michele...
Wow... so nice to hear about your turn of events... remember when you'd get soooooooooooo tired of Plan A?! Well, the fruits of your labor, my dear, are being manifested! I'm hoping and praying for peace in your home. How are your kids doing?!
Take care!
Warmly,
Nicole
