I need some advice really badly . . My fiancé and I just graduated from college and he’s been looking for a job and has not been able to find one. The past week has been really rough for him. THis is my question . .what should I do to try and help.. He is feeling very sad and depressed and like he is totally worthless. I know jobs and all that type of thing are very sensitive topics for men, but what would be the best way to help to cheer him up? I am going to see him tomorrow at 2. HELP me please !!

1) make sure he does not take the rejection personally.
2) listen to him, and empathize that it sucks to be looking for a job right now. Its not him, its the economy right now. the same situation occurred to me after graduate school, i could not even get a mindless temp job for one year after graduation.
3) make sure he gets regular exercise, eats well and regularly, and has fun with you so that there is something fun happening to keep him going.
4) although he might be looking for a __________ kind of job, I'm sure there might be odd jobs and physical jobs available while he also keeps looking. . . .
5) have you two thought about packing up and moving to a better location? not knowing where you live, the move might contain more opportunities, plus its an adventure.
just a couple of suggestions.
