I just finished reading numbheart's thread and did it boost my feelings. I'm fairly new at this posting and don't know all the abbreviations so you'll get alot of longhand!!!
I've been trying to find a way to get my hubby to wait for the miracle to happen. He knows exactly what that means, but he believes God keeps sending nudges for divorce. He says he still loves me and I really do believe that he does. I think that he is just one scared puppy due to a really awful 1st marriage.
He finally decided he had gotten the message to end all messages involving negative behavior of my 12 year old daughter so he has filed for divorce. He figured it would done and over by the end of the year and he could relax. Well the courts around here refuse to do that sort of stuff around the holidays and so it cannot be final until sometime in March! I can't get him to see that that gives us time to see if we can't pull this back together.
Does anyone have any suggestions for getting him involved in this program? He thinks it's hokey and he doesn't feel like reading this much material. If I had enough money I'd make him go to a weekend, but $425 is as good as a million to me at the moment.
I'll keep praying for the miracle both for me and for numbheart.
Thanks,
Ellen

Ellen,
I would say don't overwhelm him with too much since he doesn't want to read everything, just introduce things gradually to him. I'd start with you guys reading and filling out the Emotional needs questionnaire then in a couple of weeks try the Policy of Joint Agreement.
