My sister is a Family & Consumer Science (used to be called Home Economics) teacher. She gets paid to find good, easy recipes. This is her cranberry recipe: ___________________________________________________
Cranberry Salad
2 - 3 oz. packages jello (raspberry, sparkleberry, or cranberry) 1 - #2 can crushed pineapple. (Do not drain) 1 C. red wine (apple juice is fine) 1/2 C. crushed pecans 2 C. boiling water 1 can cranberry sauce (she prefers the whole berry type)
Boil the water, add jello and disolve. Pour in cranberries. May have to use the mixer on low. Stir in the wine. Stir in pineapple and nuts.
Pour into large bowl or two small bowls. It makes a lot. She usually takes one somewhere and keeps one. Let congeal. It takes a while
_________________________________________________
Now, if only she could find me a good recipe for feta cheese and spinach bread.
Anyway, have a wonderful holiday. I would send bunches of you Thanksgiving cards but Blue Mountain has axxed their address book so it's not so easy anymore.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXX!
