My ex wife to be and I are going through a divorce. We have been agreeing on things until now. What we don't agree on is the custody of our 19 month old daughter. She wants sole physical and joint legal. I want joint both. She has been threating me for a while that there is no way I can get joint physical custody. Is this true? I have never been arressted or been abusive or anything like that. She says she took care of the baby the whole time. Well, I was working. So I was wondering what is the common outcome when it comes to custody?

buzz,<p>You need a lawyer.<p>Also, your answers depend on what state you are in. In Texas joint custody is usually the norm. My husband and I share joint custody. We make decisions together regarding medical and so forth. I have them during the week, he gets them every 1, 3 and 5th weekend of the month. We alternate holidays and he gets them one month in the summer. <p>Hmmm, Although thinking about the month in the summer, I just can't see the kids agreeing to that one. I also can't see him working and taking care of them every day for a month. That's going to be an interesting one!<p>Anyway, bottom line. Get a lawyer.<p>Take care,<p>ANNA
