Well yesterday the wife and discussed our marriage again. She said she needs to straighten her head out. She has told me many times that she doesn't hate me but doesn't love me anymore.
This had started almost 2yrs ago, we have gone to counseling she was the first one to quit going because the counselor started to get into the religious aspect of it. I stayed for about another month, then the wife suggested we can work on our marriage ourselfs.
Now its all back to where it was. She keeps telling me she needs to clear her head out and the only way for her to do this Is to be alone.
Should I give her the space?
Should I stay here and support her?
We do have two girls ages 15 and 10,They need me now more then ever. She has admitted that she has not given the girls her time.
Iam so confused
Thanks for listening to me
Jim
Is there another person involved?
I'd say 2 years is a pretty good time to get your head on straight. Most of the time it seems that these people doing 360 degree turns in their life are somehow trying to stradle the fence of their family and another person/lover.
For myself, I think I reach a point of where I want to cut my losses no matter how painful. But however this is different for each person.
Paul

What's really happening here? Why does she feel the way she feels? If it's not an abusive relationship, then I feel that the marriage should stay together for the plain and simple reason that there are children involved. And that means doing whatever it takes to work out the differences that the two of you have. All marriages have their down periods. It's working through those times that make the marriage stronger. To bail out, is the easy way out. And I have learned that history between couples a exceptionally strong bond. I don't know if I answered your questions or not. I seem to be babbling out of emotions. However, it seems to me as though it's a decision she's going to make and, possibly, the decision is out of your control. Good luck. I know this is a very difficult time for all of you.
------------------
Ariel
