Hello, everyone:
I guess that I am echoing many people's feelings this time of year when I say that I am LONELY! My house is empty (if you can call three dogs, 4 cats, and one hairy man empty), and i do not like coming home to a house without my wife in it.
Christmas is supposed to be a time of renewed hope and joy; well I am neither hopeful, nor very joyous these days and that upsets me as much as anything! I want to know the feelings I had even last year, I want to feel thankful that Jesus came into our world to save us from sin to bring us to new life. i am having a hard time feeling anything right now, to be honest.
Well, here we are together, all in from the cold and the lonelines to spread a little Christmas cheer and hope for a better tomorrow.
'A toast, I propose a toast; To all of us here at MB, in whatever forum we post, a Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, and Joyous New Year. May next year be as happy and wonderful as this has been tragic and sad. May we all find happiness and love, may we learn what we need to learn, and may there be no more National Tragedies. We've all had all we can stand. Thank you, God.'
Thank you all for listening, vb_guy
[ December 15, 2001: Message edited by: vb_guy ]
[ December 15, 2001: Message edited by: vb_guy ]

Hey and good night or good morning I guess it is now. 1am here not sure I remember where you are.
However, I am home alone with dog, cat, and 2 strange turtles that like to float upside down for some reason. They aren't sick, just strange...
Anyway ( can you tell I'm exhausted?) I understand completely your numbness this year. Christmas is not the same and it is hard to feel that joy when you are lonely. I just wanted to say you were not alone and that I understand and feel the same way.
I will pray your pray for a better 2002. I am looking forward to ringing in the new year. I may even go out for the first time ever on a New Years Eve. My H was never a going-out type. I hope you find a way to bring some happiness and joy into each day.
Thinking of you. Take care.
Lynn

Hey guys,
I understand lonely - but you have to realize this season is YOUR CHOICE. Spend it the way you want to - if home feels lonely go out and spend it somewhere else. Find a happy crowd and laugh a little.
I jsut got home from the Christmas program and live Nativity! There are kids everywhere who need encouragement - if you don't have any or can't get to where your's are - encourage some other kids, get a group together and go caroling - or whatever - but do something for yourself and quit feeling sorry for yourself - it certainly isn't going to bring your spouse back -if you aren't enjoying your life - why would they want to come join you in it.
Cheers!!!!
Jan
