I am in a tough spot. My wife left me two and a half weeks ago because she discovered some porn on our computer. A guy and I had been sending a few pics on occasion to each other via email. It had been going on for a couple of months. It started small but then we were doing a couple of times a week. I did not get to the point that I was spending a lot of time on it. Only about 30 minutes at a time. Just before Christmas I made the decision to cut it out. The only problem was that she had found out around the first of December. She was just waiting to do something about it. She did not have a good understanding of what was going on and she assumed the worst. Since she left I have been as open and honest as I know how to be. She is struggling with the issue. At first she was so disgusted that she could not even look at me. She has cooled off a little. We have spent some time together. She is just having a lot of trouble forgiving. Whenever I try to talk about it she just gets angry. I moved out this weekend and let her have the house back. She is not very open to discussing the issue. She says that she is not ready for a divorce but she is not ready for us to both be back home. Sunday she invited me over for lunch after church. I came over and did not bring up the issue. I just tried to be pleasant. I thought things were going well until 5:30 when she said that I wasn't giving her space. I thought that I had, but she was the one who asked me over. She cooled off after church that evening but I just have a hard time talking to her because I want to talk things out but she doesn't. What to do? What to do?

OK, what do you think she meant by you weren't giving her any space? Why would she say that? Why did you think she was cooler after church? What kind of things did you do while at the house after lunch?

She was just in a better mood after church that evening. When I was at the house for lunch I helped cook, took our little boy outside to play, and watched a movie with her. I did not try to talk about our problems. She just felt me being there all day was too much for her to handle. She was just on edge because she thought I was going to try to talk about things. She says that she is just not ready for that.

Ok, so maybe you can make your next visit shorter. And maybe play more with your son, or fix something in the house that you neglected before...
