I have a date tonight! My first real date in over 10 years! He is divorced w 2 kids too, and we should have tons to talk about since his x had an a with his brother. Kids are the same age as mine, both boys though my little one is a girl. I am sooooo excited, we are doing dinner and a movie. I have a real babysitter too! I am a new woman. Nothing can stop me now, watch out Wisconsin! OK, watch out Wisconsin was a little much. But I am still totally jazzed. I'll let y'all know what happened tomorow!

We spent so much time talking at dinner we missed the movie. It was really nice to spend time with someone where I didn't have to worry about who he was thinking about or where he would rather be. I think he is really neat, and the best part is - he thinks I am pretty neat too! He paid the babysitter (very cool) and asked if he could take me out again. My sister wondered how I could talk all day today about a date that only lasted 5 hours. I am in a very cool place, but we were both pretty clear to each other that we need to take everything nice and slow after all we have both been through. I did give him a nice little kiss goodnight though.

That is great. Sounds like you had a great time! Stable Guy, there are lots of women out there who would get excited to go out with a divorced man. <p>I've dated two. Had a wonderful time with both of them.
