Wanted to tell you - I have gone from being really, really down a week ago to feeling like I had come to a "good place". The only inconsistancy I have is in term of Husband for a man who I have lived with as Husband for 6+ years. Reason? In my first ever post, there was as much focus on this fact than my reasons for being here. In my eyes, and those of our children, neighbors and his, we are married. I have read here that this is as much about relationship building as marriage building - you say tomato, I say tom-ah-to. There is not ONE other inconsistancy - not ONE. H and I (sorry, the man I have a relationship worth saving and I) have been working on things for a short while and for forever. I found my way here for guidance and to see if I could help others in the process as well. If anything I have said has caused you to feel misled, I am sorry. I am also feeling rather sorry for myself at the moment as your post hit me like a ton of bricks. Won't waste any more of your time. Sorry to all for any confusion. I pride myself on honesty and in no way meant to convey same. This has not been a vehicle of entertainment for me so BITE ME (sorry, I needed the quick vent).
Also, if such a statement were true, yes, I would say that anyone doing this would quickly leave but you know what? So would someone who feels betrayed by the very people she went to for support and guidance. Just wondering, is there a "recovering from hurt of those on MBers forum Forum?"
[This message has been edited by LisaM (edited January 13, 2000).]

No one can fault you for wanting to improve your relationship. That is really why we are all here. I have come to realize that marital relationships are sacred because marriage is a life long commitment to each other and are part of god’s plan. There are no other relationships that have all the qualities of marriage. Most marital problems are caused by failing to keep our promises, where as other relationships usually never contained all the promises meant for marriages.
When I am addressing a married couple’s misfortune I think in terms of “what promises did they not keep?” In other relationships I think in terms of “do they really want to make these promises to each other?
You are certainly not wasting my time. This is a fantastic site. I have learned things here to will help my marriage flourish for the rest of our lives. I hope that you can gain knowledge from this site as I have.
The context of your post from 1-12 big breasts vs small breasts is what caused me to choose the word entertainment. I did not make best choice of words, but I guess it’s too late to take it back. Sorry, I didn’t intend to offend you. Besides, you don’t have much control over the thread once it gets going.

Lisa, keep thinking positive. I sincerely hope that your relationship develops into the one that you dream about.

------------------
Scott
[This message has been edited by Promised Forever (edited January 14, 2000).]
