Hi there! You still hanging around? How are you doing? I can hear grinnin' in your post, are you still pickin'? How's that band of yours going? Thought I'd write you separately so as not to steal someone else's topic. I pop in now and then but can't help to throw in my two cents worth, especially when I get confused and confounded about why everyone's talking about their VD! Naturally I thought that way because I don't get presents anymore and sadly one day is the same as the next anymore.
But that aside - heck ya, I still have it in my mind to get my guys started with some sort of lessons, either guitar or banjo. I actually heard on the radio (Dr. Laura) that when kids are involved in music, it actually helps them be successful in so many other areas (like in math). Sounds good to me. Life's been a turmoil with us moving out of state and getting settled into my OWN house now close to my OWN family again. So I'm still pretty much trying to get a LIFE (and a job). We moved at Christmas time so there was another holiday that got brushed aside. But now we live by my dear old dad who is a very talented guy who taught himself to play, so I'm hoping some of it'll rub off on my boys. My dad also hangs out with a bunch of guys (old ones) who have a band, but hey, they have work and whenever the town I live in has their yearly Fest, they get hired to play for it. Should be interesting.
It's so funny, every time I type off my big mouth on a subject, you pop out of the trees too! Nice to hear from you.

Oh my gosh - everyone is coming out of the woodwork!
Hey XMAN! Ya I'm a pretty great ma! My boys get sick of my hugging them all the time especially around people, but I know they secretly love it, they're not fooling me. Hope things have been going good for you and it's nice to hear from you right out of the blue sky. Take care you.
ASHLEY!!! Hi! Where'd you come from?! I'm finally in my house now but having trouble getting a job. It's just really bad in the job market right now. "Yahoo" better keep his job for the time being or I'll be selling this house too. (My son calls everyone yahoo when he can't think of their names). Actually I should change my name here to yahoo. I'm sick of weirded out - I don't know what I was thinking when I put that one in. Anyway, WHATEVER! I e-mailed you a few weeks ago, did you get it? I'll try again so keep checking ok.
Hi Dana! Got your shorty and waiting for a longy now. You sound good!
Nice to talk to you all's. Take care.
[ February 17, 2002: Message edited by: weirded out ]
