You seem so strong in your reply to Estes. How do you do this. My boys spent the 1st night at their Dad's this weekend. I was a wreck! Any advice?
Cindy

Hi! I'm not daybreak, but the 1st night that the kids are away is difficult for everyone!
It takes alot of time, prayer and leaning on your support system(make sure you have one) to get through this.
Everyone also goes through highs and lows.
Advice for when the kids are gone is to do some things for yourself - take a bubble bath, go to the movies, go out with friends, do something to take your mind off of the situation. It will get easier, but it's ok to be a wreck for a while. We'd actually think you weren't normal if you weren't.
Hang in there, and continue to vent and let it all out here on this board! K
