I've returned to the MB boards in an attempt to figure out my post-divorce life. But I'm completely out of touch with the abbreviations! WS, BS, INTP... ACK! What's it all mean?
Any light you can shed would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

WS=wayward spouse
BS=betrayed spouse
INTP is a personality type designation. See www.keirsey.com for more info on that. Pretty interesting and helpful stuff.
Some others:
OM=other man
OW=other woman
MM=married man
MW=married woman
EN=Emotional Need
LB=Love Buster
POJA=policy of joint agreement
There are also some abbreviations for a few of the ENs, like:
SF=sexual fulfillment
FS=financial support
RC=recreational companionship
And the LBs too:
DJ=disrespectful judgement

That should help you hit the ground running. If you run into something you don't understand, just ask.
Good luck figuring out your post-divorce life. I'm still working on that myself. It's getting a lot better, thankfully.
o2bsane

Thanks for the primer! Now, what about one contained in your signature block: "MLC"? "Multi-lingual cheat"? "Masochistic legal conduct"? "Mid-life crisis"? Oh, must be that one. Silly me.
See, I'm getting there already!

"Major-league catcher"?
"My loud children"?
"Musta lost contact"?
"Mom's loud corvette"?
"Might like coleslaw"?
Ok, ok, I'll quit now. You already guessed the right one. "Mid-life crisis" it is. You catch on quick!
[ February 22, 2002: Message edited by: o2bsane ]

Thank you, NSR, for the link to the SAS list. While I do appreciate the functionality and simplicity of your approach, I must also confess that I was having a bit of fun with the trail-and-error approach offered by o2b.
Either way, my heartfelt thanks to both of you. I can now post in relative wisdom and "with-it-ness."
