My WH filed on me the 14 of Feb, UGH!!! not a nice day to do that on.
I am not ready yet for this, but guess I really don't have much choice in the matter.
I guess I am looking for some advice....what do I ask for? how do I get what I want? What kind of things do I look out for? What things do I need to protect? What are some of the questions that I should ask a lawyer? I want to do this as nicely as possible. WH keeps accusing me of dragging this out, I don't plan on it. Or should I?
It is so hard to believe that this person is the man that I loved and married and devoted my life and being too!! I so wish OW would LB some, she seems to be to perfect to do that, oh how I wish I could push her to it!!!! I know I know not nice!!! I'm tired of being nice and have a while to go yet!!! UGH!!!!
Thaks for any help or advice that you might have for me!!! Dawn

I apoligize for my earlier mistake. I was trying to post to a thread and now I can't even find it.
Well to me the first thing you need to work out is what are the custody arrangementsa dn are you two able to agree on them. If your husband filed then you should have something stating what he wants. Is it fair?
Are you comfortable with the finances?
Is there a proposed property settlement?
Does your state require mediation?
Just some things to think about. Best of luck!

Bill,
Even if you are lost, I appreciate the post!!!
Yes, I do have paper saying what he wants. Custody is not an issue, he is being generous. Is not enough money and will be asking for more. No real property. Already took his name off my car and mine off his. Debts he agreed to pay along with all fees incurred by me to obtain divorce.
I guess I am not doing so badly, after all!!
Dawn
