My husband and I have only been married for five months. We have been seeing each other for five years and we have a two year old son. Now, it's falling apart. I want to do things, go out, to the bars with my friends, or play pool and bowling. But he just wants to stay home. All he does is put me down. He calls me a drug addict and a whore. Because two months into our relationship I cheated on him and he never let it go. And I have done drugs in the past, and lied about it. I don't have a drug problem, just once a year or so I smoke a joint with my friends. I feel like we just don't belong together, he is so mean. I am only 21, I have alot to learn, and I haved learned so much already. But I think one of the things I have learned is that I don't want to be with him anymore.<BR>Please help!

well i think by you coming here, you want some advice and someone else to "look into"your situation. I would have to say i have been 21 before and i did the bar scene but not the drugs. Maybe your husband sees you as a mother now. You want to go out to bars, with your girlfriends, were other guys will be that will probalby be looking at you, and he is thinking"what if she finds someone to cheat with again?". I would really look into your family for fun. You have a 2yr old now and a husband, get out and ride bikes, go bowling, go to a museum, GO TO CHURCH, get involved in things TOGETHER. If you live together then you should play together. I believe your marriage can be saved if you tell your husband how you feel and what you want and what you will do to compromise. I agree that you need some"me time" but maybe if you have family time then he wont get so bent out of shape if you want to go out with girlfriends....maybe a bar wouldnt be the best place to go....maybe a restraunt or movies....b/c if you are mad at hubby, other guys look pretty darn good! be careful

Thank you Brenda, I think you are right. I just talked to my mom the other day and she said the same thing. So we have started doing things together as a family. But he goes along reluctently. Well, I will keep trying. THanks again!
