Hi Elizabeth,<p>ENFP's have some definate traits. . . I have a female friend who is one, and the ability to relate to her is much better than the ESFJ that I was married to . . . very different. I have tried relating to other types, but have found this type very warm, caring, adventurous, and creative. . . . and generally fun to be around. . . .<p>However, on this board there are alot of frustrated and struggling ENFP's and I would say they are the highest proportion of unsatisfied people here on the board that are identified. . .<p>you are in good company. . . <p>

It was going to be easier if I just responded with JERK. <p>I went to the page again, but realized it would be impossible for me to classify him. Before his accident he was an odd one because of mental illness, I couldn't see it then, but now in review.... And since the accident, well, he has even more issues with mental illness and a brain injury just to make things interesting. <p>E or I-
His energy level fluctuated by the day or sometimes hour. I wonder if he is a quick cycling manic depressive. Laying in bed all day one Saturday then suddenly on Sunday rushing us all into the car for a long drive to find adventure.<p>S or I
He had rules. Now diagnosed as obsesive compulsive disorder, then just rules. No breakfast food after 12 noon. As soon as you are done with a dish it must be rinsed. Baths for the children every night even if we were out and they were sleeping when we got home. But he could be creative! He could fix anything, we remodeled our dutch colonial, and it was beautiful.<p>T or F
He was Very critical. But amazingly sensitive. He had a need to succeed, but wasn't honest with one cell in his body.<p>J or P
I won't even go into this one. Thinking about all of this has just made me so tired to be him - even for a moment.<p>I guess a test like this was made for the relatively sane. He has taken the MBTI II in his brain injury program. They gave it to him twice. I guess they had a hard time interpreting the results.<p>Thanks for your time

quick cycle manic depressive sounds about right<p>also, there are other personality disorders that make people just not right. . .<p>i was stuck with probably borderline personality disorder, some passive aggressive, and a whole bunch of obbsessive complusive eating disorders. . .<p>and some pretty poor FOO values. . .
