Hello there,
Im new here and im in need for advice. My wife and I have been together for 9 yrs, married for 6yrs. We have 2 beautiful kids, 5yrs and 3 yrs in age. We've been seperated for the past 5 months and had no sort of contact with her for the past 3 months. The reason for this seperation is that I had a gambling addiction. She's talking about getting a divorce but im not seeing any sign of her persuing it. The last time we spoke I asked her if we still can work out our marriage, and all she tells me is that she wants a divorce and only time will tell if we get back together or not. The funny thing is that she's starting to date a co-worker of hers and when I ask her about it she denies it. I feel like the only reason she's not pursuing the divorce is that she wants to experiment whats out there and if it doesn't work out then she'll come back to me. I really want to work out this marriage, but knowing she's out there dating I dont think I can accept that. Im really confused and dont know if I should just consider our marriage over and move on or wait. Please advice.

If you have a gambling addiction, what are you doing now to help yourself. I know you have put her through alot with this addiction. I think she has had enough. I am sure that if you are getting help and trying to make character changes in time you will get her back, if you continue to gamble I don't see much hope. I suggest if you haven't already done so that you attend gamblers anonymous and try to get her to attend gam-anon. vist this site and read up. http://www.delphi.com/gambler
