I was wondering if there were any threads like this in MB. I know some people want to remain anonymous but I think it would be fun and I like to see who I am talking to anyway...
(I always heard that guys were visual and I guess they are right!)
Here is a link to my ugly mug!
http://profiles.yahoo.com/evoman_99

As you could see from my pics I like to ride horses too! All one-hundred of them!
I have always been scared to ride something that has a mind of it's own! Hehehehe!
At least I know if I fall off my horse, it was purely my fault! Hehehehe!

Roughneck,
I know ZERO, NADA, NOTHING about hogs or bikes. Altho, a friend of mine was telling me about Ducati (Italian), but those are smaller bikes.
JD,
Western, eh. Well, my guess would be you have Quarter horses, No?
Jo

RN,
Yeah but when I fall off I don't slide along the pavement for a hundred yards. And with the idiot drivers on the roads...hehe. I rode Motorcycles before I had kids. Gave up the bikes after twins were born. I admit to missing the feeling of the wind and everything that went along with there being just you and your bike.
Jo,
Appaloosa and Paints. The paints are more suited for rodeos. Not to be mistaken for pintos tho. Those mainly have big splotches of white in their coats. Although paints can also have these markings.
The bloodline of this particular Appaloosa was all about racing. His age(10 year old)makes him retired. 10 is too old to be on the tracks. But he has the fire still. You should see the fellow strut...lol.
jd

Appy's are cool, just don't like their rat's tail.
And as for Paints or Pintos, owned one myself. Double registered Pinto Quarter horse when I was 14 or so. She was a piebal, beautiful confirmation. Rode her Western. Barrel racer, key hole and some pleasure.
In the last 3+ years I transitioned to English. Doing Dressage, Cross Country. At least I was trying until all this Affair emotional dukey.
So is your Appy out to stud now?
Jo

Jo,
Nope, he is a gelding. Darn shame too. He would have sired some grand colts.
Rats tail? Not sure I know what you mean by that. His tail looks normal to me lol.
jd

Hey JD
I saw the word horse and went crazy. (Always been a little horse crazy! Didn't realize anyone else here had horses too! We have 2, a morgan gelding and a saddlebred mare...just for trail riding.
Roughneck
You're right about the falling off thing! I used to ride dirt bikes, and they were much more predictable than my horse!

DD,
LOL...funnnnny. We will have to take RNs word for it tho cause I have no idea whether he is or isn't
Thanks for posting that little joke. Probably the only smile I will find today. D-Day anniversary is today The day my life turned upside down. I hate March with a passion. Now I have yet another reason to.
RN,
Sorry for bringing horses into your thread. And for mentioning geldings Now I am going to try to upload some pics.
jd
[ March 12, 2002: Message edited by: jdmac1 ]

Ok, here are a few pictures. Couldn't use Yahoo tho RN. Never would open for me.
http://www.imageevent.com/jdmac1/photos
Will have to get the Digital Video Camera dusted off. It takes much better stills than the camera.
By the way RN, what do the purple wrist bands represent? Just happened to notice them.
jd
[ March 12, 2002: Message edited by: jdmac1 ]
