Renae.... don't beat yourself up over him not hearing it. My husband listened to the book on tape twice... memorized all the parts that applied to me.... and reminds me constantly of the EN's I am not meeting for him. Of course, I have to meet those before he can begin to meet mine.<p>It might not have helped for him to be there.

Right. That's exactly what my H would have been most likely to do too!! Like after counselors and pastor said there needs to be better communication, H still comes at me with--YOU'RE a bad communicator!!...and he twists reality to make it look like I'm at fault!!... So it is very likely if he had gone to Harley's seminar, it would not have changed him. I just have peace that I offered him that opportunity, and it was his choice not to grow. I have done all I can do.
The rest is his responsibility before God.
