I had an affair (although "happily" married) and now have contracted HSV-2 as a result. How do I tell my husband, whom I truly love? I DO want this marriage. Someone PLEASE help me!

If you haven't already, you should post this under one of the infidelity topics farther down on the topics page. The folks on those boards have walked in your shoes and will offer better advice. I simply know that honesty is the best policy here. You will need to brace yourself for the anger and frustration that this revelation will likely cause in your H. You will need to be humble and repentant. I would suggest that you read the areas on this web site concerning emotional needs, the avoidance of "love busting" and the Policy of Joint Agreement (POJA). An understanding of all of those concepts will help you in the days ahead.<P>God Bless.
