Well folks the big D is coming up on May the 13TH!
(Yeah, that's what I said when my lawyer told me.)
I want this part to be over with bad but I have this overwhelming feeling of sadness and dispair.
I feel in my heart and mind that divorce is the best thing for me but it still tears at my heart strings.
I guess that the toughest thing that I am facing is that I KNOW that she is going to want to come back again but I can't continue to let her rip my heart out.
Does anyone understand what I am feeling here?
My heart feels so broke right now....
Any kind words?
RN

I understand exactly where you are comming from, I to realized at some point the only person that was hurting me was me and I had to stop opening those doors to pain, I still have pain after the divorce but it is not the same pain that I allowed her to inflick on me, it is more a pain of sadness but it gets better each day, keep moving forward and take care of yourself.

I know the pain that you are feeling. I should be divorced pretty soon. My heart breaks when I think about it because this is something that I don't want.
I am thinking good thoughts for you.

RN,
Yes, I know how you feel!!!
I don't know how much you've followed my story at all. My divorce was final on 3/1. I posted recently... as the reality of the divorce sinks in more and more, there's a whole range of emotions that I'm experiencing. Here's a link. It may or may not relate to your feelings at all.
Having a Tough Time
I don't have much advice, but I know that you will make it through this. It hurts soooo bad, but it's truly a speed bump in life. When you are walking through the *crap* of life, keep going. Walk through it. Don't stop in the middle of it, cuz it stinks, and it gets all over your shoes!!!
I hurt so bad. I miss my XH so bad. I HATE that we won't be together forever like I thought. I HATE that HE made this decision and I didn't have a choice.
BUT, yes, it feels good for it to be finally done. No more waiting, wondering, hoping, wishing, etc. It's DONE. I'll always wonder how he really feels - or if he'll ever want me back. But for now, I'm letting go, and walking down this road, knowing things will be better around the next curve.
Hang in there.
[ April 02, 2002: Message edited by: Faith1 ]
