After 1 year of marriage, I have decided to give up on it. My story:
Constant arguing about sex and intimacy for the past few months. Husbands decided he wants out of the marriage and moves out March 1st. Found out March 3rd husband is addicted to porn and had this same problem in his first marriage Have not communicated with husband since March 3rd. Husband has continued to pay bills at our home. Found out thru is grandmother March 29th that husband has not filed for divorce and wants to allow the Lord to work things out between us.
Over the past month I have had a lot of time to think and work on myself which I am still doing. I don't trust my husband due to him walking out on his first wife and now me. I cannot be in a marriage with no trust. I don't even want to talk to him at this point. I am filing for divorce. Help?
[ April 01, 2002: Message edited by: morton ]

quote:
Originally posted by morton: No response?

Hi. Porn is an addiction. Is your husband willing to go to counseling with you, get a "buddy" from your Church for him to answer to, and confess the sin of porn to the Lord? Will he sit down with you and honestly confess to YOU and GOD that he has sinned against you both? Will he be willing (if you don't already) to pray every night with you, have intimate talks with you, and be in Church with you on at least a weekly basis? If so, please don't give up on him. If he doesn't, sounds like it's time to continue moving on. I hope this helps, thanks for reading. Sincerely, Harold

I really don't know what he is willing to do because we have not communicated. I don't trust him and I want out.
