T minus seven days and counting.... I will be divorced on the 13th of this month...<p>Been working alot but had a week with the kids. Took them to get their mother a Birthday gift and card and while we were there, a Mother's day gift and card. <p>After the shopping, we checked out "The Scorpion King".<p>I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Still feeling sad about the whole thing but dealing with it day by day.<p>Gave her a birthday gift and didn't feel bad about it. Going to give her a Mothers Day gift too. A day before the divorce. <p>Strange!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [img]images/icons/wink.gif" border="0[/img]

It is good to hear that you are doing better than before. My anniversary date for my divorce will be May 10th...one full year. I wish I could say it has been a great year; it wasn't...but it was a year full of transitions, a lot of growing, and a lot of fall out from the divorce. Despite all that, I am happier than I have been in many years if that makes any sense. You will be okay...time does have a way of healing those emotional wounds.

I'm so glad to 'see' you again! I have been thinking about you and next week and wondered how you were.<p>Did you love 'Scorpion King'? It was so cartoonish but really great cartoonish. Next on my list is Spiderman.<p>I think it is very sweet of you to make sure that all of stbx's "May days" are taken care of. Lots of people wouldn't.<p>While it's wonderful to spend time with the kiddos, aren't you worn out when they leave and grateful for some peace and quiet?? Thank you HappyMac and franklymydears,<p>I don't get much time to myself. I work and when I am off, I have my kids. <p>I do have a vacation scheduled for the end of May and the first June! Going to the Republic of Texas biker rally in Austin, Texas! Myself and a bunch of my friends! It is an 11 hr ride from my house to Austin so I will have plenty of time to think of things! It will be the first time I have been "OUT" since the separation. I think I will enjoy the time with my friends!<p>I liked the Scorpion King. It was fun! Spiderman! I have to see it. I will be coming in on friday, so I think I will head up the kiddos and go to the show....<p>As far as the May days, well, I want my children to see me show acts of kindness instead of hatred and anger! I think it is alot better for us all....<p>RN
