Wow! Something I was dreading - my anniversary. I remembered it in the beginning of May, and forgot about it until today while reading a post. What a relief! Suddenly my life is too busy to re-hash memories of things past!
The anniversary was 14 May....
Pantha

Good for you Pantha! I have been thinking about you and wondering how you are doing. I know you can get through this and am happy that you are so busy with you that you are not dwelling on him and the past!
Take care and God bless!
K

I had a little hurdle like that the other day when I forget the 1 yr anniv. since my X left. Unfortunately and appropiately (I guess) our anniversary falls on Memorial Day and on a day that she has the girls. I think it could be a tough one for some reason......

Pantha,
Good for you. Mine is just a few days after yours. I remembered the day before, but forgot on the actual day, lol. But that's always been my problem. I don't know what I'm gonna do the next time I get married, finding a day that doesn't bring back memories will be a trick. Oh well, by then it probably won't matter.

I was smart enough to get married on Valentine's D Day. Guess how easy that is to forget - and doofus did forget one year - well he forgot the gift - said he just didn't have the time. And he ended up getting me something you could run in a store and snap up in 5 minutes - a VHS copy of Romancing the Stone back when videos were something like $79. A day or two late. From a man whose job required that he spend almost all day driving from one work site to the next so he drove by millions of places that sold videos each day.
