You know through out my ordeal of betrayal, Its so easy to allow the enemy to magnify my pain and try to torment me as a failure. I begin to look back on how I have been blessed despite how one [1] individual out of 4 billion people on this earth has treated me and I begin to realize there are more people for me than against me. Is one person all that powerful? [No] I look at where the Lord has brought me at a time when I was at my lowest and I begin to count my blessing and started thanking the Lord, I have the God of heaven and all his angels on my side. Since D day Nov 2000 the Lord has really blessed me and he will continue to. Here's just a list of what has happened in the past 1 1/2 years, the Lord has been there all along:<p>1. In 2001 I Had an encounter with the Lord and he poured his love on me like never before.
2. I make more now than I ever made in my life.
Prior to this I lost my job due to emotional pain of betrayal.
3. I live in a place where I'm happy to live.
Prior at one point when WW left I had no where to go, no job, no credit, verge of homelessness
4. Get to help people in church...
Had no permenant church home prior in other state
5. Working on my christian music jazz CD, prior lost all music instruments,lost desire to play
6. Promotions at work, company spoils me with whatever I want in the IT Field and webdesign.
Prior work for a company and felt like a slave
7. Business opportunities arising, In the process of starting one soon, attend business seminars
8. Was told a christian woman has an eye for me yesterday [I'm not interested though, she is good looking]I want to heal and live the single life for a while, work on me, fulfil my destiny in life....I would disappoint a woman at this point in my life because I'm still working on me, she needs financial security[not there yet].
9. Friends from surrounding states have applauded my endurance and supportive, also marriagbuilder partners.<p>AS I begin to see, there has been lots of bad things that happened but also more good things, I'm starting to see more of the good verses the bad, it is true things get better with time. AM I hurt?, yes!...But when I start looking at the future and not the past, I start to get teary eyed, happy and excited...my pain of self-pity has got to stop, oh poor me, oh poor me, look whats she's done to me, the torment of jealousy, lifes too short to yearn for someone thats not in love with me, I have a purpose in life, you have a purpose and destiny to fulfil.<p>Just to encourage you:
Rise Up and be healed in Jesus name!! You are somebody awesome!!!

EC,<p>Thats a great post. Sounds like something I will need to do myself.<p>The Lord is awesome! He can do mighty things. There is no way I could have gotten through with out HIm. There are a number of people who have seen "my" (His) strength & they want it, so I get to use my experience for His glory.<p>I have been feeling EXTREMELY STRESSED for weeks now, with no relief. Tonight, I went to a new church (i am staying with my mom) and I felt at peace for the first time in a long time. After church, I just went & sat in the Chapel for an hour just to sit with God & I can't believe the calm & great feeling I have now.<p>I am new to the DV board & have started to scan old posts when yours caught my eye.<p>It's really important to stay positive and look at the good in one's life. I'm still in the really painful stage, but somehow, this post lifted my spirits.<p>Thanks!<p>God Bless, <p>d.

Thanks WGTT, I'm glad this blessed you, good things are in store for those that faint not through the storm, if you just hold on and pray, I remember going through real down day and felt my mind coming under a cloud of discouragement. I begin to read Psalms 91 and it went away the more I read the happier I feel...<p>Be Encouraged!!
