i'm smart enough to know that only i can answer my question, but was hoping for some advise anyway. long story short, my wife and i were married too young. i was ready, but i know now that she was not. she resents the fact that she missed out on things by being married. for about 2 years, i haven't been much of a priority in her life while she began exploring things that she always wanted that we never did together. over that time, i got the "i love you but not in love," "i'm just a different person than when you married me," and the sort from her, but what could i do about that? i was the same as the day we were married, and still showed love in the same ways. she just thought she was mature enough to get married (i thought she was too), when in fact she wasn't. i stayed the same, and she began to want the college life that her friends were living. a few months ago, she moved out, and its gotten even worse. the whole time this has been happening, i've been as far up and down in my emotions as possible, mostly because i'll build up so much hope when she seems to act like she did when i married her, then hit absolute bottom when she reverts back, and its never gradual, always a 180 degree bodyslam to my heart. its happened countless times, and i'm scared to leave myself open to it. it happened again last night. she had told me the day before that she was willing to do whatever it took to make marriage work(which she has done many times also, i really doubt her resolve, but its the best i can expect to hear). then, last night, bam, she dropped another bomb on me. now, nearly every time this happens, she realizes how stupid she's been, what a good husband i really am, and apologizes. she just can't restrain herself enough to keep it from happening again and again. she says she loves me and wants to stay married, but also wants to keep living her separate life. she knows how it affects me, but does it anyway, maybe assuming that an apology the next day will heal me, and it does, it melts my heart, but i really don't think she'll ever stop. that terrifies me. i really do love her, at least the woman she was when we were married, but she hurts me so badly now that i can't tell whether it would hurt less to be divorced from her or keep taking what she dishes out hoping for a miracle and and end.<p>folks, from your experience, will it ever end or do i have to give up my best love to keep from dying of heartbreak?

yea, i may be blind to it, but i really don't think there is one. actually, there are EA's, have been many over the years, but she won't aknowledge that they're a problem. i think she thinks they're a perfectly innocent part of her "finding herself."
