My husband and I have been together for 5 years and married for 4.. I truly love him with all my heart and soul. He was there for me when I was in the ending stages of my first divorce and was always so sweet and caring and understanding of what I was going threw. For the past couple of years things just haven't been the same. We have 2 kids ( I have 1 from my previous marriage ) and we have a 11 month old together. It had gotten to where we wasn't able to spend any time together and he always wanted to be a work. We tried counseling and things seem to be getting better.. but then it was like it all just fell apart all over again. We have been seperated for 6 weeks now.. and yes he has gone to see a lawyer.. when he called me for my personal info so the lawyer could send me the divorce settlement.. I finally broke down after weeks of acting like I didnt' care and acting like it didn't bother me... I told him I didn't want the divorce.. and I DON"T!!! I truly believe that we can work threw this.. even the most couples people think are just "perfect" have their rough patches. We have been talking for the past week and he's had me come to his brothers house (which is where he is staying)and we have talked.. and have talked all week.. when I ask him what is wrong and what I could do to make things better.. he says he don't know.. that he lost himeself???????? I don't understand that... I love him with all my heart and truly believe that we can make it threw this.. I could sit here and type everything that I feel I need to say. but I don't have all nite and this lil section probably isn't big enough... thank you for reading..
and if for some reason he happens to see this.. I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART!!!!!

I, though I wasn't the one who wanted to be divourced, can totally relate to that statement. I had totally lost many of the traits that made me attractive to myself, my family, and my friends. In my situation, I believe that I know "why" it happened but why do you think it happened in yours?
You say that he helped you through your last divource, could it be that he was put into a role too soon? Have you noticed things about him that have changed like sense of humor, hobbies, just whatever?
I would suggest just working on yourself, remembering that you can only change yourself. Read through the information at this site and ask all the questions you want.
Don't be discouraged if you don't get an immediate response, the responses will come.
Hugs, Thoughts, & Prayers

I signed my divorce papers from my first husband a full 1 1/2 before I met my husband... so I don't think that has anything to do with it.. I was totally honest with him up front about my ex fighting the divorce.. he was fighting the childsupport.. not the divorce itself...so I wasn't really looking for my husband. We met and he was so kind.. nothing has really changed about him except all he wants to do is work all the time.. he had no time to spend with me or our kids.. I love him with all my heart.. and I have told him that.. we have been talking for the last couple of weeks.. so I hope that with a lil counseling and open communication we will be alright
