x came by to get our son, we are to exchange cars in our final D-paper, I get the Jeep X gets the truck. x wants to do this exchange after he gets off work after 6 pm. after x has stole the base sticker off my truck a few weeks ago I really wanted to take a good look at my Jeep. The first thing wrong is that there was a 3 inch wide door guard starting at hood ending behind back tire. Well that is gone you can still see the marks where it used to be. Told X to please put it back on before we exchange cars. I can still hear him yelling with our son sitting beside him. I didnt get upset, just turned around walked away with him yelling something, I didnt even listen. Waved to our 13 yr old son & came in to get ready for church. I feel great! Already made an appointment for our son to begin talking to a Dr. this Wed to help him deal with the D & his Dads actions. I dont have time to fight with X, my best friend who stood by me in my D found out fri that she might have a rare form of breast cancer they are telling her it is in stage 5. the lump wasnt there 2 months ago now its very large & there are 2 of them. She will be going into the hospital Tues. She is only 34 yrs old with 2 children. please pray for her.

Prayers for your friend.<p>You did great in walking away. Your son will probably not remember who was right or wrong, but will recall which parent was yelling and ranting.<p>I have decided that the next time my XH tries to "engage" me in an unreasonable conversation (okay, a one-sided fight as only HE can be right!) in his driveway, I'm going to tell him,
"Look at me. Take a mental picture. Now talk to that, because I'm leaving now."<p>
