This has little to do with my main question...but has anyone lost so much weight during this time that the wedding band spins freely, that it is a chore to keep it from slipping off??
Anyway, I got home after going to pick up the kitten I adopted today ( the cutest kitten in the world!!). The eldest BIL calls and said that his mother (a month short of 79) fell and broke her hip when they were out together. She has, and may still plan to, live on her own.
Since the W is not in town, and may not come tomarrow to visit her mother, do any of you who have been betrayers think this may add axtra guilt?? Since the BIL already has not talked to her for sometime now, will this be a deposit in the Love bank since the other BIL insisted that I be contacted? I almost do not care whether my W sees it as such or not. Over the last few months since my W moved out I have had a more personal relationship with the MIL than my own mother.
RRunRR
ps. Must dash. The kitten needs food!
Couldn't eat a full meal and all I had to do was hear OW's name or have my H bring up the suggestion of getting together with her and her family, and my throat would knot up and I'd not be able to eat even a dish of coffee ice cream (truly sad; it's my favorite). Everyone compliments me and asks how I managed to lose so much weight. I don't tell them about the Grief and Heartbreak diet.
Sorry about your MIL. Don't worry about LB behavior with anything dealing with this woman who has become very close to you. She needs your support now. Visits to the hospital, reading to her in bed, sharing a soap opera and allowing her to narrate the history of the crazy people's lives, a game of cards on the little wheely table, whatever you can do. W was out of town, when she comes back she can also do thoughtful things for her Mom. (I know you're not inferring anything, just wanted to comment it doesn't automatically make W a bad person that she wasn't there when her Mom fell).
P.S. I don't care what your W says, any man who would adopt a kitten can't be all bad!
------------------
Belle, Domestic Goddess

rrRunrr,
I've been reading your posts and forgive me for saying this but I think you are fishing for compliments.
You say how good you are to your MIL, how you take care of kittens, how you've now a 32 waist. I think you're looking for a girlfriend on from this forum at worst or at best your having a little EA yourself with the people that come to this site. Maybe this is revenge for your wife's EA or maybe you just need your ego boosted.
Any man too much "cowardice" (your word, not mine) to confront the OM in his wife's life has less than a snowball chance in H*ll of winning her back, no matter how much sympathy you get here.
So go feed your cat and tend your fragile MIL to your heart's content. Until your willing to fight for your wife, she's gone.

WOW,
My first flame!!! None of those apply. We just never think we will see our high shcool weight in our life again.
As for the MIL, standard procedure on the hip surgery. BIL's girlfriend shared how this has effected him. Younger BIL dropped in at the hospital when we were there. W gave them no indication if she planned to come up at all.
There definitely is no desire for an affair of revenge. I feel strong enough to see what the purpose of that would be seen by others. Besides, how would it feel on the part of the OP knowing that they were used for an EA?
As for confronting the OM, I have let others in the circle know I blame him for this situation, it may be time to say so to him. I was careful not to be agressive with his brother, expecially when I saw how much info he was missing. It is his money fronting the business and has given a limited amount of time for it to succede. I do not wish to see that fail. Just the relationship.
If I had thought of trying to get an EA started here my e-mail would be in my profile.
I will still accept the criticism, though.
RRunRR
