Hi,
I am getting divorced which I feel fairly sad about as I didnt get married with then intention of getting divorced. In many ways My husband and myself are still friends and I hope it stays this way.I have a lot of respect for some of the things he gave me in the marriage but things where never quite compatiable.Really no-one was right or wrong but these things happen.
Take care

oh,

I get the feeling that there's a lot more that you want to say. Why not tell us? Someone here has been through what you're going through.

Yes, divorce is always sad. It's the death of love, our hopes, our dreams and that is painful. I doubt that any of us get married with the intention of divorce (except my mil! ). It's just that marriage is hard work and so many of us don't know how or when to begin the life support to keep it alive.

Read this site and try to learn from it. There is always a possibility that yo can reconcile. If not, then the things you learn here will help you in your next relationship.

We are all responsible for our actions - and for our inactions. Saying that "these things happen" is just a way to avoid assigning and/or accepting responsibility.
