Here's my situation. I've been married 6 years and have 3 children, 19 1/2, 14, and 6 years old. My husband will be 40 years old this year. He's been a licensed preacher for 2 1/2 years now. He works 40 hrs a week, goes to school 4 nights a week, ministerial institute every other Saturday. And has a cutting business on the side for the summer (lawn). His so called leisure time is spent watching tv with our son who's 14, boxing, wrestling and playing on the playstation. Then there's occasional family outtings of BBq's with friends. Then he does alot of church duties and goes out of town with our pastor. Now his two nephews are visiting with us 17 and 12 years old. He's considering having them stay with us either one of them or both. Since their mother (his sister) pasted 2 years ago. Financially we can't afford it. My dilemma is...where is our time together? There's no intimacy, lucky if we makelove once a month. I've spoken to him about it but to no avail. He'll even watch tv in the evening in the livingroom and I'm watching tv in the bedroom and by the time he comes to bed I'm asleep. A kiss consist of a peck on the cheek. We use to do things together no matter what it was. When you saw one you saw the other. Now everything is separate. What do you think?

Try at least one date night per week, even if you do something that costs nothing. Get schedule books out and schedule time during the week. Wrtie it in pen(ha ha)it can't be erased.

He just basically listens. Moreless just letting me talk as to say "I'll let her vent" type of attitude. Then again he's not the type of person that expresses his emotions too well.

quote:
Originally posted by Lucks:
Jonice--
What does he say when you've discussed the problem with him?
Laura
