Sounds like an easy reader, am going to look that one up and read. I am dealing with my stbx WH with his infidelity. It hurts, and what hurts more is that he shows no remorse or guilt about his sexual affair.
Would like to get this other woman out of my head, but she has had 2 sexual affairs in her marriage, and my husband fell for her. Can't understand this man that would want a woman who is promiscous and is not stable. Still tells our kids that he loves her. So he can have her, (she is still married today) for 28 years to the same man.
Anyways, good to see a book to help us betrayed spouses. Thanks

Confused & can't believe:
Your post didn't ask for opinions, but I feel I have to throw out my own .02. I realize that each of us must walk where God takes us, and I cannot know where you are being led. But quoting from one particular source is dangerous! I bet I can quote from just as many books which say "God is saying DO NOT divorce..." as that will say it is allowable.
I don't know how long your WW's A has been going on, but to have registered in this site, and begun posting in July, 2002, and BE DONE with your M, and your W so quickly concerns me. There are some here who have been waiting out the A aftereffects with their WS's for a much longer period of time, years, even. Dr. Harley's material on this site clearly states that an A can take up to 2 years to die a natural death. I wonder if you have "hung in" for longer than 2 years already, to be so ready to throw away your M now.
I understand it is really NONE of my business what you do with your future, but my own personal belief is that God does not want divorce to be part of our vocabulary (Malachi 2:13-16). These scriptures clearly state that we separate ourselves from God's answers to prayers and blessings when we pull away from our one-flesh spouse!
I - further - believe that if you will take a stand against infidelity and divorce in your M - even if your W divorces you - God will honor your stand and restore your M.
Again, it is not my business to dictate to you what you should be doing. We each must seek God's Will for our lives....God Bless you in your quest for where God is leading your and your M.

I tried everything to make our M work, trying to make him love me again. It doesnt work unless both are willing & want to save the M. I believe that God wants you to go on with your life. One day I will meet a christian man who will want to be a part of both me & my childrens life. I feel no guilt for filing, its been a relief it was starting to affect both me & my sons health. X & OW have been living together since he moved out & are planning to M soon. Out of the D there was some good, I found true friends & new ones. The strength that I never knew that was inside me came out & will keep me going. OW H has been in contact & will always be a part of our family. I found peace in my D & believe God wants me to go on not sitting around blaming myself for filing for D. I will be looking forward to reading the book. Our son wrote a poem about his town, small but so many A that people talk about them proudly.
