Gads----I am married to the worst cakeman. We have been in the A for 1 yr and 3 months and I forced WS to leave last Sept....he came back in May with intentions to work on M. Well, two weeks after moving back, he is still torn, involved and not sure what he wants......so now I have to end this M or it will kill. Not sleeping, depressed and loosing copeability.
I found an apartment last week and was about to move when the whole situation threw me over the edge. Did not sleep for days and felt dread and confusion with so many unanswered questions. Also discovered that I should not leave without leagal protection. So here I stay while the WS roams and disconnects to keep his "sanity"
Have talked with WS extensively. He will not get help at this time and will not move out. I have asked him repeatedly.
What are some experiences of separating that some of you have had? Most people I know in this situation had the luxury of the WS leaving. My WS wants both and has almost admitted it. He does continually ask me not to leave. Don't know why-----whether it is guilt or that he wants to be my husband some day.
He has a drinking problem so I know he could never be a husband while excessivley drinking regularly. He talked to a friend about AA and says he is not able to do that right now. He will not make a decision about anything. WHY does he want to stay in the Limboland triangle? He certainly is not happy and enjoying it.
So confused, TW
