I apologize to you all……………

I know for a fact that I sometimes speak as if what I have gone through is the worst that anyone has gone through. I know for a fact that I can talk as if my pain is worse than anyone else’s pain. I know for a fact that I can behave as if I am the only guy who has ever had this happen to him.
I am sorry….I do not mean it the way it comes out. I am just lonely and the anniversary of my wife leaving me is on the 31st. GIIS, I read that your bad anniversary is coming next month, I am heart-sick for you and your children.
Please, please, please understand that I am just a man, confused and lonely and wondering what the heck is going on………I will work harder to help more people here.

Thank you for listening to me.

C++guy - it is ++ and not -- isn't it..... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

No fair having a down time while I'm on vacation. I should have prohibited it before I left..... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

Stop apologizing for you pain please. You know that's how you will know that you're healed when you can say - so what if I haven't felt the worse pain ever, my pain is real to me and all of you just need to let me vent! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="images/icons/mad.gif" />

Venting is healthy - repeat that 7x77 times. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

The reason I tell you not to apologize for your pain is that you need to feel it and express it to move on and heal and also because it puts all of us other venters to shame - now how can I tell everyone about my really incredibly terrible evening, when I too probably don't have it as bad a most - ok I actually think I have it worse than most, but the verdict is still out.

On a brighter note - you had a just beautiful decription of your island.

It seems that everyone this week is just having all of these old feelings resurface about their marriages and (former)spouses - what gives? Maybe it's in the water.

So, on another post I'll do my real venting because I wanted to share this with you after reading the island post.

Tomorrow is July 25th - sound familiar, ok, no probably not, but I've recently remembered that Mary(as in the Mother of God) still appears every 25th of the month in Medjugorje, and has since 1981. I had actually thought she had stopped appearing, but low and behold she's still there talking to three of the six visionaries. Here is where I'm going with this.

I was just tonight reading the monthly messages for the past few years on the website and she talks about finding God in nature.

She also says to pray until you find joy in praying. I found this interesting because once again like in MB she is asking us to do something that we don't feel like doing but with the end result being something that we will find joy in doing. Just like our spouses lose hope in our marriages, when in reality if they would by pass their emotions and do the MB principles, they would find themselves blissfully happy.

I also wanted to let you know that petitions are presented to Mary if they are sent before the 25th of each month - check out the website - www.medjugorje.org - i think.

I too said a few prayers while on vacation for everyone and your prayers must have been why I didn't just totally lose it with my ExH tonite.

Prayer works - Mary said that too.

Keep the faith. K <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="images/icons/cool.gif" />

I agree with K.-no need to apologize for venting here. Thats what this forum is about.
When I hurt(especially when it comes to my marriage) I feel it is the worst pain that anyone in the world has ever experienced and no one else could ever understand! But then I go through it, not around it, learn what I can from it and then happiness comes around again! Try to remember that when a door closes, God opens another for you. You just don't yet see the pleasures your future holds!! But take the time that you need to heal.

c++guy:

Did I read recently that you used to be vb_guy?

If so (or even if not), all my best hopes that things get better for you.

Geez Louise! Don't be a poop, we all whine and moan and do the poor me shuffle. That's just how it goes. It is the worst thing in the world because it is happening to US and it is SHATTERING OUR LIVES.

Feelings are feelings and they are all valid. We all feel the same way, like suddenly the thunderstorm is directly overhead and sun is not forecast - EVER AGAIN. I know, I've been there.

We are all here for you, for whenever you need to write out pages and pages of how awful it really feels. And then we'll chime in at the end with "Yep, we know exactly what you mean."

There is no reason for you to be sorry. Not one reason. We have all had our moments. I'm sure you've been to a pity party of mine or maybe even 12 of them.

The problem starts when people don't have a place to go to get the feelings out. A board like this, a good friend, a counselor, family... That is when the men in the white coats come take you to the happy place....

I hear the food is simply awful there. I'd hate for you to go, so just keep on doing what you need to do here, and we will listen and console.

Take back the I'm sorry before I spank you.

Love,
E <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />
